Candidate Support

WHAT WIBA/KIBC MEMBERS CAN DO AS "INDIVIDUALS" TO SUPPORT THE ELECTION OR DEFEAT OF CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE

• Make contributions, either direct or in-kind.
• Assist in fundraising efforts or host other social events.
• Participate in phone banks, door-to-door canvassing or other volunteer activities.
• Serve as poll watchers and engage in other Get-Out-The-Vote efforts.
• Assist in the placement of signs on personal or business property.
• Circulate nomination petitions.
• Send postcards, mailings or other communications on personal stationary or campaign stationary.
• Conduct voter registration drives for candidates.
• Hold positions on committees for candidates, e.g., finance committee, public relations, etc.
