Join us as Nate Robertson, a Wichita native and Wichita State baseball pitcher that went on to the Major Leagues, ties in his sports days to 'Spring Training for Businesses.'
With spring training starting in February, Robertson will be talking about sharpening your skills, similar to spring training and how that could apply to business owners and entrepreneurs. Robertson will share about his baseball career, being a local business owner/entrepreneur and his support of the Wichita Community.
Nate Robertson pitched at Maize High School, Wichita State University and then was drafted to the Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers and the Philadelphia Phillies.
He appeared in the 2006 World Series as a left-handed pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.
After the Major Leagues, he he came back to Wichita as the co-owner of the Wichita Wingnuts. He is currently the co-owner of the Candle Club, a Wichita-area private nightclub and restaurant. He is involved in several local non-profits including the Kansas Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Wesley Children's Foundation. Robertson and his wife reside in the Wichita area with their 3 children.
