Karen Duling, Ed.D.

Dr. Duling is the Associate Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for the Maize School District and an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education at Baker University. As a public educator with over three decades of experience in K-12 education, she is passionate about relationship-building, pedagogy, leadership, and organizational culture.  She has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University.

Dr. Duling is a proud Wichitan. Her hobbies include cycling, hiking, and Kansas day trips. In 2019, she had the privilege of landing on the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier as a United States Naval Forces’ Distinguished Visitor. She and her husband have three grown children and five perfect grandchildren.
