Rachel Pappy, Partner at Polston Tax, will provide information on the new tax laws including benefits of the Section 199A Provision, qualified business income (QBI) under the law, QBI threshold amount and more.

Rachel Pappy has been working in the accounting field since 1999.  She began as an accounting assistant and moved into payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, tax preparation, and financial planning. She earned her Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University and joined solo practitioner, Rod Polston.  They partnered together and grew the firm to 90+ employees and thousands of clients across 5 offices in 2 states. Polston Tax primarily represents self-employed individuals and business owners who owe back taxes. Polston Tax fights on their behalf to protect their rights and put a reasonable resolution in place for their outstanding taxes with the feds and the state.

WIBA incurs the cost for every RSVP, so our policy is A reservation made is a reservation paid. That simply means you will be charged even if you do not attend at the last minute.

Members are encouraged to pay at the time of registration Reservations must be made and paid for by 3 p.m. the day prior to the event. For those who wish to pay at the door for a previously made reservation, you will incur an additional fee of $5 to cover staff time taking the payment and providing a receipt. We appreciate your understanding and support of this necessary policy!
